Mango Lassi

Mango Lassi

Lassi is a traditional yogurt drink from Northern India. It can be made with various fruits; mango is a popular choice.

Ingredients

  • 1¼ cups diced mango, about 1 large mango
  • 1¼ cups plain yogurt
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar most recipes call for white sugar, but brown sugar is more flavorful
  • ⅛ teaspoon cardamom
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients into a blender.  Puree until smooth and creamy. 
  • Serve immediately or put in the refrigerator to chill.
