Seasoned Green Beans With Onions

- 1 pound frozen petite whole green beans or french-sliced green beans
- 1 medium onion, small dice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon white granulated sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Heat a large, deep sided frying pan over medium high heat. Add the olive oil, then the diced onion and saute for for 3-5 minutes.
Add the garlic and continue to saute for about 1 minute.
Add the green beans and stir to distribute the onions and garlic evenly with the beans.
Sprinkle the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and sugar over the bean mixture. Mix well and continue to saute just until beans are tender, stirring frequently. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
