Autumn Fruit and Cheese with Spiced Caramel Sauce

- 1 whole apple
- 1 whole pear
- ¼ cup orange juice
- cheddar cheese, cut into sticks
- ½ cup caramel butter sauce or purchased caramel sauce warmed so that the sauce will be easy to stir
- ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Cut the unpeeled apple and pear into wedges. Remove cores.
Add orange juice to a small bowl. Dip the cut fruit into orange juice to prevent browning.
In a small bowl, stir together the caramel butter sauce and the pumpkin pie spice.
Arrange the spiced caramel sauce, fruit, and cheese on a platter. The fruit and cheese can be dipped into the spiced caramel sauce as desired for eating.
