She is absolutely right about the Smokin-O’s. The hubsters cooked steaks and pork ribs with the Smokin-O’s on board for Mother’s Day. Outstanding! It was the best Mother’s Day dinner ever.

Tune back in tomorrow, everybody. I have a fun, super easy treat that kids and adults alike enjoy — Honey & Peanut Butter Rice Krispie treats drizzled with chocolate! You’re gonna love ‘um.

Sorry and so embarrassed

Silly face 1585
This face pretty much reflects how I am feeling about now. Not as cute, though.

Dang it. For all of you who follow this blog, that last post, Vanilla Bean Cupcakes, was NOT supposed to be published yet. Clearly, if you read it, you know that it was not finished…no pics, no recipe, just a lot of unedited blather.

I had fallen asleep with my computer in my lap this afternoon.  My hand must have accidentally brushed the cursor over the “publish” button and then came to rest on it. I didn’t even find out that I had done it until a few minutes ago…which is about 4 1/2 hours AFTER it all happened.

We’ve all been there, right? We’ve all found ourselves in situations where our lives were not turning out the way we’d planned. That’s where I am right now.

I got sick a few weeks ago–quite sick. Four doctors worth of sick. That’s why there haven’t been any posts since October 15. Continue Reading
