I’m sorry. I would be a terrible blogger and wouldn’t know what to say. I came across your pink popcorn and it reminded me when I was a child. I would love the recipe. But I understand I must be a blogger to be on this page. Thank you for your time.
Judy…of course you can have the recipe for pink popcorn! You don’t have to be a blogger to get the recipe OR to leave a comment. The recipes are open to anyone who wants them.
As for the three boxes that ask for your name, email address, website address–those are there for several reasons. Mostly, they help prevent SPAM comments. Think of a SPAM comment as an unwanted salesman at your front door. No, actually, think of it more like a whole army of salesman at your front door peddling everything from toilet paper to aphrodisiacs.
While those three boxes help to keep my blog safe from spammers, they also help the commentor make contact with me and vice versa. If a fellow blogger leaves a comment, I then have the opportunity to visit their blog and make a connection with them. It’s like a huge circle of pen pals or maybe the modern day version of a book club or quilting circle. Often the people who leave comments here on this blog are not bloggers themselves. That’s not a problem at all! I love to make connections with non-bloggers as well.
For future reference, anytime you want a recipe that you see on this blog, simply click the “print” button located in the upper right hand corner of the recipe box. The recipe will then print out on your printer. I haven’t yet converted all of my recipes to my new recipe format, so you may come across a recipe that is not in a recipe box format. In those cases, somewhere near the title of the recipe of the recipe there will be pink words that say “printable recipe”. In that case, simply click on the pink “printable recipe” and you will be taken to a new page with the recipe on it. The recipe can be printed from that page.
Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my page. I appreciate it so much. It can be intimidating learning how to navigate the comment section on blogs. Some blogs have an extremely complicated set up when it comes to leaving a comment. I have written you an email which includes the recipe, so check your email. Have a great day, Judy, and welcome to That’s Some Good Cookin’ 🙂
